Comments:
One of the Roma Eterna stories. Early during the Second Roman Republic, two children meet a mysterious old man hiding in a ruined imperial hunting lodge in the Teutonic provinces. As they spend time with him and listen to his stories of the old days, they begin to suspect he is more than the simple caretaker he claims to be.
